I want to cosplay as Kon from bleach. don't know how hard it will be but a mascot outfit can't be easy lol. But right now we are making Kimono's and trying to decide how to do them.
This is the one to trump all the others in terms of size: Cosplaying as a Metal Gear... I have designed both a Metal Gear Rex, and the new Metal Gears from MGS4. I say designed because that's as far as they will go. I had planned to make both of them a hollow fiberglass shell with an internal support structure made of aluminium. Building it is not much of a problem for me, but its scale is an issue. I designed each to be 8 and 11 feet tall respectively. So issue number one is size and balance... Issue number two is cost... I priced it out, and I also decided that to cut the weight by 1/3, the cloth in the fiberglass would have to be carbon fiber. that doubled the price, and I would need a big roll of cloth to complete the project (although I could use the left over cloth to make car parts for myself). The framework is the easiest portion of both projects, because all I have to do is TIG weld some aluminum tubes. The hardest part of the whole project is transportation: It wouldn't fit in my AE86 Corolla... And since that died last month, I have an even smaller car, a Mazda Miata... No way it can go in the car. Plus it would have to be assembled on-site, and just be a major headache. But if I could do it, it'd be so awesome.
TEEHEE! after takin the advice of my oh-so-wise mother i am stickin to one costume! my sister and i are both goin with our cousins (big family) i think i was overly excited! Im goin for an inuyasha look! i reckon i will play him well!
I would love to go as Yowkow/Alkaid from the .hack//G.U. games.
The fact that it would be the most revealing outfit I've ever worn in public aside, I think I could manage, but I'm iffy when it comes to making that giant fan on her back and dyeing the wig.
